About this Cause

My name is Alex Johnston and I am a Life Scout in BSA Troop 316, which was established in 2008 in Fairless Hills, PA. I am working towards achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. My Eagle Scout Project will be replacing some of the old fencing around the animal enclosures at Pennsbury Manor to improve the safety of both the animals and the people visiting this historic place. I chose to carry out my Eagle Scout project at Pennsbury Manor because I grew up visiting with both scouts and school. I also have a love for history and animals. The estimated cost of replacing the fencing is $3000. I intend on carrying out this project in April 2026 along with my fellow scouts and adult leaders. Any donations that can help me achieve this goal are appreciated.
